About Cars and KRZ Racing.

Radio control cars come in all shapes and sizes. The most common cars at the moment are the Nitro Methonal power Off Road Trucks, these are now more popular that the Electric Off Roaders. Most people call these Nitro Cars "Petrol Cars". Nitro Cars have engine sizes of between about 2cc and 8cc, and are scales of 1/10 to 1/8 and even some 1/6. Petrol Cars run on 2 stoke pump petrol (petrol from your local petrol station mixed with 2 stroke oil). The engine size of a petrol engine in the racing cars and off road cars is between 22cc and 29cc.

Electric Racing cars are becoming the top class of racing as you get better and better, this is because an electric car is cheap and easy to get started but a lot harder to get "Really" going well and fast (as well as costing a lot), where as a Nitro car is a little more to get started with but a lot easier and cheaper to get going fast.
